My latest project has been a little series of pictures put together with the song "Holy Mother" written by Eric Clapton. I wanted to do something for mothers on Mother's day. There are many young mothers in my life at the moment and being close to them makes me realize what enormous power of love and patience they all have. I think there is so much we all can learn from that and so I thought the least I can do is give them a song since that's mostly how I channel my own love and patience.
Just in case some of you may wonder "Just
what's that slacker actually DOING all day anyway??" I'll
tell you a bit about how I go about my working process.
library to get a poem collection or play the piano
for a while. For me it works best like this, that I
don't push anything to get written, that never turns
out well. It's a rather drawn out and slow process as
you can tell but I feel incredibly thankful for living life
this way. In between writing and playing I love chatting
with all different kinds of people. After lunch I'm usually not too inspired to write anymore and so I try to work with everything else around the music, like bookings, promotion and recordings. But to be honest I mostly just do my daily work out and then get off to enjoy the evening.
